We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Superintendent of Freedom Construction Services. This management-level leader provides strategic and operational leadership for all construction job training activities, oversees foremen and program participants, ensures high-quality delivery of construction training, and manages partner relationships with construction companies, contractors, and jobsite hosts. The Superintendent serves as the primary point of contact for all job training partners, ensuring alignment between program objectives, project needs, and student development outcomes. This role requires strong leadership, mentorship, and discipleship abilities, coupled with practical construction knowledge and a passion for empowering young adults to break cycles of poverty through skilled trades training. If you’re an experienced carpenter, electrician, plumber, or other tradesperson with a heart for raising up the next generation of skilled trades workers, we’ve got a position for you. As more young Iowans join our program, we need Formen to help them apply their newfound skills on the job, working for real clients, supervising real jobs, with real deadlines and budgets. This is a part-time position so you can fit other activities into your week. It’s perfect for the retired or nearly retired skilled trades worker.
