Freedom Construction Services was founded in 2017 because we saw a problem. Too many young adults in our neighborhood were struggling to pay rent, buy food, and take care of their families. They needed work, but lacked the connections, equipment, and experience to find a good job.

Rather than watching the young people of our neighborhood continue in a cycle of instability, we chose to build a program with a wholistic approach.

Our vision? To see a workforce in the Des Moines metro populated with hardworking men and women who walk through life with skill, integrity, and confidence.

How do we get there? By working together to give opportunities to those who need them most.
