Our mission is to empower young adults through work training and life skills that produce development, restoration, and hope. The program may take you up to 12 months to complete and will include the following components: Employment training - You will be challenged and encouraged to develop and learn important construction skills that will help you gain and sustain long-term employment with a livable wage in the skilled trades. Bridge to Area Employers - You will have the opportunity to learn and apply for great career opportunities with skilled trades unions, construction companies and other service companies after program completion. Transportation - Can you get yourself here as early as 9:00 am? Do you have reliable transportation? Work Hours -- Are you able to work 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Thursday, and varied hours on Fridays? Work Life - Are you willing to discuss spiritual matters? Are you open to what God has to say about work? While participating in the work training program, you will be invited to participate in a nine week course called Work Life. Through Work Life curriculum, you will discover what God says about work and learn practical life skills like resume building, conflict resolution, and adapting to a professional culture.
